WORLD CHAMPION CHAD DISTEFANO PASSED AWAY

This is A very sad day for the sport of Kickboxing as we lost Chad Distefano .A very young Martial Artist that became an Amateur
USKBA World Champion and fought on ESPN2 and MSG many times. He was also a member of Team USA in the Ukraine all before he
got the chance to reach the age of 21.
Chad was My student at AFC KICKBOXING since he was 16 years old (one of our first
students) and like family to us at the school . He had a heart of stone and would go any where and fight anyone at last minute
notice. I had the pleasure to travel with him to many places to compete and he always made us very proud. After A recent injury
he was unable to fight , But if I needded him to help out on our shows at last minute notice he would always come to help
out with out asking any thing in return. He will always be remembered and treasured as part of our history in our school as
well as his great contributions to the sport.
Since this just occured today they are not sure what was the cause of death
and of course his familly is very upset at this time . When we become aware of the funeral arrangements and where to send
cards, If you wish to do so we will post the information as it becomes available to us.
