Results From the World Combat League NJ:
Team Miami beat WCL Champs In Atlantic City ,Nj
Hey all, Last night I worked as a World Combat league trainer along with Jonas Nunez assiting the Miami Froce Head coach John Morrissan against the League champs From St Louis .

There where some great matches with Miami taking an early lead winning some key match-ups with Arman Mirkanovic ,the Criserweight winning his frist match easily but the second one with a couple of great knockdowns and finishing his opponent with a spinning back kick.

In a surprise to many Craig Oxley Ko'd the Ko king of the WCL Tim Conners in a great match-up showing that there is a new top dog at welterweight .

In another surprise match after winning his first match for Team St Louis Kevin Angel fought alternate fighter from Peurto Rico Jose Sulliman and was in for a surprise as Jose started strong with good kicks but definatley took over with his boxing skills to win an easy decission for the Miami Force.

In another suprise Lightheavyweight fight

Another Key mtach up was Remy Bonnel at 164 lbs which lost a controversial decission in his first match against Fernando Colleras and came back to win his second match by destruction against an alternate for team St Louis Enforcers..

Winner : The Miami Force

Also this night had the Ny team coached by derrick Panza vs the NJ Team.

Most notable matches in this competition was the great female fighters from Ny Jennifer Santiago VS a strong girl from Team NJ Jennifer was in control early and got caucht with a right hand which dropped her in the first fight giving the win to NJ .

Then it was a different story in there second fight as jennifer wanted to show that it was just a lucky punch in the first fight and jennifer showed why evryone in the WCL loves to watch her in action dominating with awseome boxing and kicking tchniques using great ring control to win the second fight easily.

Nj won the team competition but Jennifer Santiago won over even more fans than she already had.She is a great asset to the WCL.

Winner the NJ Team :

Chuck Norris was in attendance and the crowd loved seeing him at this new fight league which he created .

People in attendance stated that this was the best WCL event to date,Check out the VS's Channel for when it will air.

World Combat League TV Debut

Versus Network to present special preview broadcast Chuck Norris's World Combat League in 80 million homes every Saturday in December.

Versus Network, formerly the Outdoor Life Channel, has partnered with the World Combat League to debut its inaugural season starting Saturday, December 2nd at 5pm (EST). The first show will feature the Miami Force vs. Philadelphia Fire in a blazing twelve fight, Eastern Conference contest.

Fans of the WCL are drawn to the spit-second action of this new, knockout intensive sport. The stand up fighting styles of the participants make WCL events a showcase for the most visually captivating and fan-pleasing combat sports action.

The World Combat League (WCL) is the creation of action-film and television star Chuck Norris. As the creative visionary, Mr. Norris has joined together a number of innovators to introduce the next major American sporting league: a Team-based, next generation martial arts combat entertainment event.

World Combat League athletes are well-conditioned, hybrid fighters who employ multiple martial arts kicking and punching techniques including Karate, Muay Thai, Boxing, Kickboxing, Kung Fu and Tae Kwon Do.

Each team has six fighters; five men and one woman who each compete in just two three-minute fights per team contest. This encourages each fighter to aggressively answer the bell with the spirit, desire and determination to earn their team as many points as possible. The judge's scoring system and referee's penalties are designed to reward €œfull throttle€ fighting and penalize any attempt to stall or be passive.

Versus Network has plans to present the complete WCL inaugural season. Check your local listing for times.

The World Combat League Inaugural Season championship event will be held Saturday, January 20th in Austin, Texas. Undefeated Eastern Conference Champions, the Miami Force will take on undefeated Western Conference Champions, the Houston Enforcers for the inaugural season€™s league championship.  Also appearing will be the  LA Stars facing the Philadelphia Fire. Information is available at Worldcombatleague.com.

Tommy "Bee" Bottone has been chosen an assistant coach for the NY  Clash.

JANUARY 21ST AT CONNECTICUT'S MOHEGAN SUN ARENA

IS THE NEXT STOP FOR CHUCK NORRIS

AND THE WORLD COMBAT LEAGUE

WHAT:       The World Combat League (WCL) is the creation of action-film and television star Chuck Norris, fulfilling his life-long vision to combine the extraordinary excitement of martial arts combat with the thrill of routing for your favorite team.  Each contest will feature world class martial arts athletes competing on behalf of their city, in €œfull contact, full throttle team fighting events.  Fans will be able to follow and support their favorite team throughout an entire league season that has been appropriately dubbed The Turf Wars!   The WCL is now the worlds first team combat martial arts league and it presents unparalleled martial arts action, athleticism and excitement.

After nearly 4,000 appreciative fans witnessed the non-stop fighting action at the Dallas Convention Center last October,  the Mohegan Sun Arena has been chosen to host the WCLs second event. Four teams, each featuring 5 men and 1 woman  will take the stage in what Five Time World Kickboxing Champion, Dale Apollo Cook described as, the most exciting team sport ever conceived.
